The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Friday at the Remo Stadium in Shagamu, Ogun State of Nigeria defeated the Comoros women 2-0 in the 1st leg of the 2nd round qualifier of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games CAF qualifier.
Michelle Alozie broke the ice from a goodly layoff from Monday Gift to score the first goal in the 48th minute after a barren first half.

Incidentally the match today regarded as home match for Comoros was played in Nigeria and the 2nd leg will be played on Tuesday 13th October by 8pm at the same venue before the winner will proceed to meet Morocco women for advancement in the CAF qualifier.
