Ladipo Market building
A 3-storey building said to house auto spare parts in the popular Ladipo market has been gutted by fire .
The building located on 85 Ladipo Street by Fatai Atere Way, reportedly caught fire on Sunday evening after an electrical spark at a furniture workshop behind the building.
Officials of the National Emergency Management Agency Ibrahim Farinloye said that officials have tried to put off the inferno but the building has continued to burn till early hours of Monday.
This is coming barely three weeks after an explosion rocked a nearly street destroying goods worth millions.
