….Says Justice minister,Abubakar Malami is wrong
Governor of Anambra state,Willie Obiano has said that President Myhammadu Buhari has voiced his opposition to emergency rule in Anambra state as a result of on going violence in the state.
Speaking to state house correspondents after his meeting with the president,the Anambra state helmsman said that he reported the Attorney General outbursts to the President who replied him that all what he wanted is free and fair election s in the state.
“I spoke with the president and he told me that all he wanted us free and fair election in the state and not a state of emergency”the governor declared
Speaking further,Governor Obiano wondered why such emergency rule was not declared in Zamfara,Katsina,Borno,Kaduna and Plateau state that has witnessed more violence that his state Anambra which he said”was just a flash in the pan”.
He assured that logistics for a peaceful election is being out in place ahead of the November elections adding,” we have procured equipment and facilities for a hitch free elections”.
