After a week in captivity,Air Vice Marshal Sikiru Smith, who was abducted in Lagos,by keeping kidnappers has been released.

Adekunle Ajisebutu spokesman of the Lagos Police command confirmed the development.
He said Smith was released in the early hours of Saturday.
It will be recalled that Smith was kidnapped last week while supervising a dredging site in Ajah area of Lagos.
