This according to Reverend Matthew Oyamakin is crucial for citizens to diligently pursue their goals and make amends or corrections where necessary.
The clergy man made the charge while delivering a sermon at the Akinale Baptist Church,Akinale near Abeokuta during the Thanksgiving service to mark the 77th birthday and 17th coronation anniversary of Kabiyesi Olufemi Ogunleye, the Towulade of Akinale.
Quoting from the book of Psalm 90:10, Reverend Oyamakin noted that the celebrant has over the years touched the lives of many and contributed to the rapid development of his community since his ascension to the throne .
He urged notable sons and daughters of the community and Nigerians in particular to imbibe the spirit of cooperation for development of the country.
According to him,it is by so doing that the country can solve some of the myriad of problems confronting it,overcome it’s challenges and attain development in all ramifications.
He cited the examples of the Apostles of Jesus Christ who sold everything they had and did everything in common thereby surmount difficulties and expand the coast of their ministry.
The Thanksgiving service was attended by traditional rulers, chiefs, friends and associates of the retired veteran journalist, public relations consultant and now legal practitioner.
