In what is easily the first time when a Benin Monarch delivers a set of quadruplets, the reigning Benin monarch, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II has added a set of Quadruplets from his fifth wife, Princess (Oloi) Esosa Ewuare II into the Benin Royal family.

It would be recalled that the Oba had in May 2020, welcomed his first infant Prince after he ascended the throne of his forebears as the 40th Oba of Benin from her Royal Highness, Princess (Oloi) Iyayota Ewuare II.
The traditional ruler himself made the announcement at 4:57 pm at his palace on Friday in Benin City.
It was jubilation galore by the royal family members, chiefs and guests who gathered at the palace to receive the good news.
The sexes of the babies who are yet to be named comprise three princes and a princess.
The monarch paid tribute to God Almighty and the ancestors for the blessing.
