Nigerian entrepreneurial couple, Glory Osei Igberaese and Muyiwa Folorunsho have been declared wanted by International Police (Interpol) over their alleged involvement in multi-million dollar investment fraud.

Glory Osei and Muyiwa are the CEOs of Divergent Enterprise, the mother company to Landlagos; Shapeyou; 234logistics; Casual Becky; Porkoyum; Porkmoney; True Rebel; and also Hyberfactory.
In October 2019, Glory Osei and her husband were the butt of Twitter jokes and also memes after former employers accused them of operating scam business ventures. Other allegations include high-handedness; maintaining a toxic work environment; as well as deduction of salaries or firing staff over trivial mistakes.
Then, succumbing to the unending social media backlash, Glory in February 2020 deactivated her Twitter account
In the latest development after almost 2 years of the couple’s absence from Nigeria’s social media space, Glory and also Muyiwa have now been linked to a slew of Ponzi schemes.
According to a report by PeoplesGazette on Wednesday, August 4, the suspects, whose social media prominence earned them the pseudonym ‘Bonnie and Clyde’, in one case allegedly defrauded investors of over N1 billion.
The victims in a January 21, 2021 petition to federal authorities said;
“These funds were however diverted to personal use; including for the purchase of luxury properties as well as foreign citizenship.
“Also, warrants of arrest separately issued for them; by the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court said they are wanted for obtaining money under false pretence and stealing.”
A notice issued by Interpol section of Nigeria Police Force in Lagos state with the description of the physical qualities of the couple partly reads;
“[He/She] is wanted by the police for the offence of obtaining money under false pretence; stealing and diversion of fund. If seen, arrest and hand over to the nearest police station; or to the office of the commissioner of police Interpol Section Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex Alagbon Ikoyi Close, Lagos.”
They were declared wanted following a petition filed by one Chijioke Ukaegbu and other victims. Intelligence research firm Sylnam Strategies coordinated the petition against the suspect.
