Gen. Ali who assumed office on Tuesday as the new Taskforce Commander in Plateau State, also said journalists are critical stakeholders in peace building.
Speaking to newsmen on a familiarisation parly on Thursday at the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), headquarters in Jos, Ali reassured the Media that his command will be open to provide information to Journalists at all times.
“Before you send out your news items please call our Media Officer to verify the information, as this will help you to balance your reportage”, Gen. Ali reteriate.
