Gunmen have attacked a mining site located at Arufu community in Wukari Local Government, killing one person while two Chinese were abducted.
The attack also left some persons injured.
The incident which happened on Monday night, was confirmed Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. David Misal.
Speaking on the incident, he said the police have begun a manhunt for the fleeing bandits with a full-scale investigation ongoing.
Misal revealed that the two abducted foreigners were staff of a mining company in the state.
The Command Spokesperson noted that the abductors are yet to call for negotiation or make demand.
