Nasarawa United plucked maximum points in Bauchi from Wikki Tourists in a MatchDay 21 game played on Sunday.
It is Nasarawa United’s third win away so far this season.
Anas Yusuf levelled for the visitors after Manu Garba had given the hosts the lead. Silas Nwankwo scored the winner just on return to the second half, the visitors then held on to the end.
Tebo Franklin was the stand out player. The defender was all over the back, was like a rock, won tackles and made life miserable for the Wikki forwards.

Just before half time Silas Nwankwo came close to given the visitors the lead after he aimed from the left side but his shot was saved and the rebound cleared.
A minute after resumption, Nwankwo made amends and gave his side the lead after being fed by Aliyu Abdullahi.
At the hour mark, coach Bashir Abdallah brought in Kingsley Edwins and Idris Mohammed Guda for Promise Damala and Osadiaye who missed a sitter in the first half.
It wasn’t long before Bala Nikiyu responded with triple changes.
The visitors had more chances to increase the tally especially from counter offensives, one of which came a quarter to full time when substitute Adamu Hassan shot over with Kolimba already beaten.
