Veteran actor Sadiq Daba has died. Details of his death were not available as at press time but the it was learnt that Daba who played the crucial inspector Waziri in Kunle Afolayan’s October 1 movie succumbed to long time of illness.
Oil magnate Femi Otedola had paid his medical bills last year when he fell ill and was flown abroad.

Daba was a broadcaster who also featured in many legendary productions before he delved into movie roles in the later part of his career.
He also featured in Afolayan’s latest movie Citation.
The veteran was reported to have been battling with leukemia and prostrate cancer.
