The death of Veteran actor, Sadiq Daba, has elicited different reactions from politicians and actors across the country .
The mourners, who took to their social media platforms Thursday, have all described the death as a loss to Nigeria and Nigerians at large.
Atiku Abubakar, former presidential aspirant, said via his verified Twitter account:”Sad that the cock will no longer crow at dawn.
“Sadiq Daba, thanks for the joy you brought into our homes.
“May your sins be forgiven and your memories be a blessing.”
Shehu Sanni, former Nigerian Senator, recounted their last messages and prayed for him through his verified Twitter account:” May Allah Grant him Aljanat Firdaus, Amin.”
Kunle Afolayan, movie star producer, took to his Instagram page to mourn the veteran Actor, in his words: “You will be missed, Uncle S. You made your mark”.
Recall that Sadiq Daba has featured in at least two major movies(October 1 and Citation) directed and written by Kunle Afolayan.
Also, Shared Balogun, nollywood Actor, said in his verified IG page:“Goodnight Uncle Sadiq Daba. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
Actress Joke Silva wrote, “Uncle Sadiq, you had a good run. I thank God that you worked till the end. Rest well dear friend. Rest well.”
