The crisis in the All Progressives Congress,(APC) in Ogun State reached its head Thursday, as Deputy Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Oludare Kadiri, was impeached.
Kadiri, was successfully impeached on Thursday (today) by 19 members, after prolonged attempt by the 5-men committee report which recommended him for impeachment.
According to a reliable source, the 19 members adopted the report and move the motion of his impeachment this afternoon at the plenary session.
Meanwhile, constitution allowed only two third of the house to impeach any principal officer of the assembly, the members formed two third with 18 members who voted and adopted his impeachment while the Speaker, Taiwo Oluomo pronounced him impeached making 19 assembly members.
