Enyimba have gone three points clear at the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table after nine games, but their problems just seem to be setting off.

Last Saturday, they struggled to close the home game against Plateau United and despite taking a 2-0 lead, they ended up winning 2-1.

They had also struggled to win at home against Kano Pillars and Wikki Tourist, an issue that coach, Fatai Osho is blaming on fatigue.

There is a lot of fatigue in the team and we will see what we can do about that,” Fatai Osho told www.npfl.ng.

As soon as the players recover, you won’t see any of these any more.”

The coach admitted that the boys do not just look tired but are actually tired.

The boys look tired. There has been a lot of travelling and you can see that they look tired.

We just have to see how we can recover quickly from this,” Osho said.

As a result, the coach is not thinking of a title race, even though his side is three points clear at the top.

There are six or seven teams that can win the League and it will be a difficult race so we must keep winning until the end of the season.

It is too early to talk about a title race or to say that we can win the league, just too early,” Osho said.
