The family of the late veteran Journalist, Olufemi Babalola Onayemi who died on December 30, 2022 after a brief illness announced the burial plan Monday.
It will be recalled that Pa Onayemi, who has practiced for over five decades with stints in top media houses in the country passed on December 30 after a brief illness.
The late journalist and mentor to many top flight practitioners was born on September 1940 and hails from Eruwon in Ijebu ,Ogun state.
He will be buried at Omega Funeral Homes, in Ikeja at 10:00am with all Covid principles adhered to.
There will be a service of songs on Thursday, 24th February at 5, Akinbo Savage off Daddy Savage, Fagba Busstop Ifako Ijaiye at 5pm.
The ace Journalist who started out with the old Daily Times before becoming a Regional Editor with The Concord Newspaper at Ibadan and passed on as fringe Editor with the Nation Newspaper developed further complications from his outstanding medical challenges.
According to Funke, Baba Femo as fondly called in the fourth Estate of the Realm gave up the ghost at 6:15 pm on Thursday 30th December, 2021.
Mr. Onayemi is known to Journalists as a meticulous writer always seeing a star in every budding journalist.
