Plateau United humble Adamawa 3-0 in Jos.

A penalty in the first half converted by Amos Gyan and two late goals from substitutes Kingsley Samuel and Wasiu Jimoh gave Plateau United a comprehensive win over Adamawa United.
It was a match the home team dominated from start to finish. Had they made use of their chances, the goals would have been more.
Early in the half, Stanley Nnanna should have done better for the visitors when he fired over after receiving a fine pass from Isa Garba. That turned out the only time they came close.
From then the game was played in the visitors half but despite dominating, Plateau United’s forward were disappointing as they failed to make anything from the possession.
It is either their shot flew off target or goalkeeper Victor Philemon made the save for Adamawa United.
Amos Gyan, Zulkiflu, Akile Jesse were the major culprits. The  forwards were never denied of supply from Ochowechi and Ndala that ran the midfield.
At stoppage time, the visitors conceded a corner. A player handled the resultant  corner played by Buhari Ibrahim. Amos Gyan converted the penalty.
The game continued in the same fashion in the second half. Akila Jesse had a one on with Philemon who made the save.
Later Oche Ochowechi taught he has scored the insurance goal but Obguagu Emmanuel made the clearance before it crossed the line.
Frustrated with his ward, Abdu Maikaba made four changes within few minutes.
Substitutes Abba Umar and Onwuasoanya almost scored with their first contribution.
The ding dong continued until the late minutes when Umar assisted Kingsley Innocent before Wasiu Jimoh rounded the scoring, a solo effort before a thunderbolt shot.
Plateau will next face Katsina United while Adamawa United will host Enyimba in Gombe.
