The bid to enforce the Lagos traffic law assumed a new dimension again Wednesday as men of the unit determined to enforce its laws had another clash with motorcycle riders at Ikeja along bus stop.
This clash is coming closely on the heels of a previous clash at Mile 2 area of Lagos on Tuesday, which led to violence as the Task force officials seized several motorcycles in a bid to enforce the state traffic laws.
This incident makes it the second day of the clash between the riders and the government officers.
On Tuesday, the task force officers had seized over 70 motorcycles around Second Rainbow, FESTAC Town over infraction of traffic laws, which resulted in a clash between them and the okada riders.
In a viral video of the Wednesday incident, scores of riders are seen chasing the security operatives while spitting out a stream of expletives as the task force officers retreated to their operational vehicles which zoomed off immediately.
