No doubt, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has completed the Abule/Oshodi BRT Corridor in continuation of his promise to complete all projects left uncompleted by his predecessor. What a beautiful sight and no doubt, the people are happy for it.

Though, he {Sanwo-Olu} has inaugurated the BRT Corridor (with little or no noise), that takes commuters straight to Oshodi at the cost of N400, the issue, however, here is the problem that the ubiquitous street traders, especially those at the popular Katankowa market are likely to pose to the infrastructure, the BRT and its users. The traders have taken over the access routes to to the buses and the pedestrian bridge opposite the market while the police and all agencies in charge of maintaining law and order in the area look the other way arms akimbo!

It was tug of war when the editors of Newdawnngr visited the sight last Monday to take a ride on the BRT to Oshodi. Both the the traders and commuters are in an unending pulling and shoving just to buy ticket/card to make their way into the buses.
Below are the pictures taken from the riotous scene and this is calling on Sanwo-Olu to read the riot act to those in charge of road and infrastructure maintenance to do something before something do them.
