Former President Goodluck Jonathan arrived in Mali,Bamako today in continuation of his fence mending trips to troubled African nations.
He disclosed his arrival in Bamako, the Malian capital Monday on his twitter handle thus:

I arrived Bamako this afternoon to continue with the Ecowas_Cedeao mediation efforts towards resolving the socio-political crisis in Mali.
My follow-up visit is to engage stakeholders on the implementation of the decisions and roadmap endorsed by the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of States and Government after their Extraordinary Virtual Summit held on July 27, 2020.
As West Africans, we have a shared destiny and should never be tired of rallying round each other to solve problems in our geographical space.
