Insecurity: 200 trucks with unidentified persons sent back to Katsina

The Police in Lagos claimed they have turned back some passengers numbering over 200 who were transported from Katsina down to Lagos.

Operatives at the Border point between Ogun and Lagos on the expressway stopped the truck which was carrying many youths who could not explain their missions in Lagos.

The driver of the truck said he was not aware of the lockdown between states.

Upon coming down from the truck some of the passengers were found to be in possession of cutlasses.

The police insisted that the passengers must be taken back to Katsina where they had come from.

The driver of the truck said some of the passengers were people he assisted adding that apart from Katsina he picked many of them from Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital.
