Ekiti state Government has organized a 3day sensitization Training on Coronavirus pandemic for Hospitals Owners in the state
The Sensitization Training which was held at the School of Nursing Hall, Ekiti State Teaching Hospital premises Ado-Ekiti became necessary in order to be updated about Covid 19 in the state and possible way of combating the spread of the pandemic .
The commissioner for health and human services Dr mojisola Yaya-Kolade who spoke through the Director Hospital Services and Training at the Ekiti State Ministry Health and Human Services Dr. Olusanya Adetoye disclosed that the three days training is dedicated for the 3 senatorial districts across the state.

Dr. Yaya-Kolade said that it was made three days in order to observed social distancing rule of the WHO which was one of the major ways to curb the spread of the deadly virus.
She noted that the state was not only embarking on the Sensitization training of Hospitals owners in the state but also providing necessary support in forms of provision of Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) and commodities to help them in their various hospitals.
She reiterated the need to practice personal hygiene, use of hand Sanitizers , regular hand washing and observation of social distancing rule as recommended by WHO.

In his lecture, one of the resource persons at the training Dr Olumide Obe the state epidemiologist reiterated the need to practice personal hygiene, use of hand Sanitizer, regular hand washing and observation of social distancing rule as recommended by WHO.
Dr. Obe noted that there was a to do contact tracing of all identified index cases so as to avoid it being spread to other members of such community
Dr. Adeoye later appreciated the state government for its efforts at curbing the spread of the Covid 19 in Ekiti state.
