The men of the underworld have been on the rampage in the last five days causing residents sleepless nights.
As a result, the residents of the communities have formed themselves into vigilante groups parading the areas in the absense of police.
Newdawn sources revealed that the robbers who normally came in buses in a gang of 40 are mostly middle aged men and youths and armed with dangerous weapons like guns, cutlasses and other dangerous weapons.
They wake up residents dispossessing them of cash, phone sets, foodstuffs and other valuables.
To ward-off the miscreants, the communities vigilante groups make bonfires at various junctions with men stationed to alert neighbours.
It will be recalled that the Ogun state government since Friday April 3rd ordered a shutdown of the state to reduce the spread of Coronavirus which has rampaged the western world.
For now,the state police command is yet to make a statement on the new threat to life in the neighbouring community with Lagos.
