Umuokwe sets to make first appearance at Olobo Festival



The people of Umuokwe are set to make a very impactful debut at the Olobo Festival.

Speaking with a prominent son of Umuokwe, Hon Austin George Eneduwa, he has the people are determined to make great impact at the festival and they are not just coming as first timers, but they are coming to lift the trophy as the Eze Olobo 2020.

Their youth President Comr. Bobby Ugba said they have been preparing and their sons and daughters are in great support of Umuokwe to come out victorious at the glamorous event which is schedule to hold on April 13th, Easter Monday at Aninshi Primary School Ogwashi Uku.

Since inception of the Olobo Culture, Umuokwe people have never participated in the cultural festival but come April, we are coming to Challenge other Ogbes and possibly outshine them one of the elders said.

“We are making arrangements for the best costumes and masks, we will be the team everyone will want to support because we are coming with spectacule”
