OGSG to disburse N160 million r community development

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has promised to disburse over N160m 7as intervention fund on Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) for year 2020.

The Governor, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Planning, Alh. Hassan Adekunle stated this at the Project Launch and distribution of cheques to CSDP beneficiary communities approved by the World Bank, held in Abeokuta.

In a press release by olayinka kujore for the CSDP,the deputy governor noted that the State Government has committed the required counterpart fund for the successful implementation of the projects for this year, adding that over N160m is expected to be disbursed by Government as intervention on CSDP for the coming year, as a demonstration of its commitment to making life better for the citizens of Ogun State.

Describing the achievement as a landmark for the State, the General Manager of CSDP, Engr. Sakirudeen Salaam, appreciated Government for supporting the agency, promising that the project will be thoroughly monitored for effective implementation.
