How Amosun undervalued and sold adire market to friends

Details have emerged on how former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun built the Adire market at a cost of N750 million and sold it to his cronies at N250 million
The Adire Mall built to replace the Adire Market in Itoku which was demolished to expand the road has 250 shops
The Mall which was completed with a whopping sum of N750 was part of projects commissioned by President Muhammad Buhari.
However, when former Governor Amosun’s candidate in the Governorship election, Hon. Abdulkadir Akinlade of the APM lost, the former governor hurriedly sold the shops to his cronies.
The cronies were asked to pay N1 million each and the 250 shops were allocated to them
Total amount collected newdawnngr.com learnt was N250million and the shops were handed over to the new owners.
Owners of demolished shops in Itoku were excluded from the allocation while most of those who got the shop were said not to be actually traders
Informed sources said the allocation went to members of the former governor’s family, relations and his political friends.
