Hamisu Wadume, a suspected kidnap lord in Taraba State, has been re-arrested, by the Nigeria Police Force.
Mr Wadume was the ‘high profile’ kidnapping suspect arrested by the police on August 6. He was being driven to Jalingo by the police team when soldiers opened fire on them along Ibi-Wukari Road, killing three police officers and a civilian.
This was contained in a press statement shared on Police official Twitter handle alongside a video clip to confirmed the re-arrest.

Wadume also disclosed in a trending video how he was released by the Soldiers before he was finally re-arrested by the Police.
“I’m Hamisu Bala, notoriously known as ‘Wudume’. @PoliceNG
arrested me in Ibbi and @HQNigerianArmy followed us and opened fire on them killing some policemen. They(soldiers) then took us to their base and cut the handcuffs, I then escape but was rearrested by police,” he said.
