Music legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, once sang about Sorrow, tears and blood in one of his classics.
Today, the scenario played itself out as blood flow freely in Abuja when the ShittesMuslim fundamentalist group, for the second time in two weeks, took to the streets of Abuja to protest the continued detention of their leader, El-Zaki,Zaki, who has been detention for more than two years.
It was the biggest test for the police as the bloody riot as at the last count has claimed many unconfirmed lives including that of members of the police force while a Channels TV reporters say had a bullet lodged in his stomach.
Besides, the Abuja headquarters of National Emergency Relief Fund (NEMA) was set on fire by the protesting followers of the Shiite leader.
And While all these were happening, President Buhari, who is the commander in chief of the armed forces, was signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a German company, Siemens, for electricity generation in the country.
