Son of former Ogun State Governor Olusegun Osoba, Olumide has defeated late Bashorun MKO Abiola’ nephew,Mikky Kazzeem and daughter, Rinsola Abiola at his polling unit in Geleodun in Obafemi/Owode Local Government.
Mikky Kazeem is currently representing the area in the House of Representatives while Rinsola Abiola is currently a Special Assistant to the Speaker in the House of Representatives
While Kazeem contested on the platform of APM having lost out in the APC primary, Abiola contested on the platform of ADP
