Miss Lagos State University (LASU), Esther James, has condemned the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff
Universities Union (ASUU), saying it is delaying her from launching her pet project.

The beauty queen in an interview with this reporter said that her pet project which she hopes to launch early Next year will be on domestic violence and child abusive.

Speaking at the residence of Chief Lucy Omosefe_Ajayi during a Christmas choral organized by St. Jude the 300 level student said that her voray  into the world of modeling gave her the confidence to plunge into the campus beauty pageant world when it was announced.


According to her, she had always come out tops in the pagents organized the model outfits she had worked with in the past and so when that of LASU was announced, she wasted no time in trying her luck and as God will have it, she emerged the winner.

Still full of thanks to her parents whom she said gave her all their encouragement,  she said that but the current ASUU industrial action, her pet project would have been  up and running.
