The Councillor representing Ward C in Oke-Ira Central Area of Ojodu Local Council Development Area in Lagos State, Hon. Gbenga Opebi has concluded arrangements to organise the maiden edition of a quiz competition for pupils and students in the Ward
The activity according to organisers is an educational exercise to improve the academic performances of children in the area.
Opebi said the quiz competition which is the maiden edition is a deliberate effort to enhance the academic performance of the children in the area.
The event scheduled to hold Wednesday 14th November 2018 at the Bethel Gemini Schools, Oke-Ira, via Ogba, Lagos at 10am promises to draw participants and spectators from primary, junior secondary and senior secondary schools in Ward C of the Ojodu LCDA.
According to the organisers of the event, partners of the exercise include Bisi Ogunjobi Foundation, May & Baker Pharmaceutecals, Soulmate Industries Limited, Nipen, Rev. and Rev. Mrs. Albert Aina, Pastor and Pastor Mrs. Alaba Olusemore, Deacon and Deaconess Remi Odufeko.
Schools in the Ward C area of the Oke-Ira Central are enjoined to participate and get their pupils and students exposed in order to better their academic performances whereby preparing them for future academic challenges.
