All Progressives Congress (APC), has scheduled Friday to hold the governorship election following the dissolution of Gulak led Electoral Panel
The Newly constituted Electoral Panel is expected to arrived Imo state today (Thursday) in preparation for the election.
The new governorship primary election in Imo state has been scheduled for tomorrow in all the 305 wards in the state.
This was contained in a press release by the publicity secretary of the party in the state Onwuasoanya FCC Jones, to all registered members of the party.
He said the elections shall be for the nomination of APC candidates for Governorship,state house of assembly , Senate and house of representatives.
The publicity secretary said a special electoral panel set up by the NWC of the Party is expected in the State later today.
He urged members of the party to be at designated voting venues as approved by the State Working Committee of the Party adding that accreditation of genuine and card carrying Party members shall commence at 9:am, while voting follows thereafter.
