Nigeria Labour Congress on Sunday ended the warning strike after two working days.
The announcement to end the strike was made by NLC President, Ayuba Wabba.
According to him, the strike is being called off as a result of the firm and formal assurance of the Federal Government to
reconvene the tripartite committee on the new minimum wage.
It will be recalled that labor minister Dr Chris Ngige announced last Thursday the decision of the federal government to
convene the tripartite committee on the minimum wage on October 4 to enable the committee conclude it’s work and make
recommendations to the Federal government.
