The federal government has suspended the take off of the Nigeria Air project earlier scheduled for December this year.
The minister for Aviation Hadi Sirika announced the suspension on his tweeter handle yesterday.
He gave no reason for the suspension of the national carrier meant to replace the moribound Nigeria Airways.
I regret to announce that the Federal Executive Council has taken the tough decision to suspend the National Carrier Project in the interim. All commitments due will be honoured. We thank the public for the support as always.
