The Ogun APC caucus meeting held to determine the mode of conducting its primaries have resolved to try getting consensus failing which they would resort to the Direct Primaries
The meeting held at the Mitros halls and gardens called by the State Executive of the party had in attendance, Governor Ibikunle Amosun and aspirants into various elective positions.
Sources at the meeting where Governor Amosun was said to have also declared his intention to run for the Senate said that most aspirants wanted the Direct Primaries.

The Governor was said to have also promised to name his preferred candidate to take over from him on Thursday
It was therefore resolved that the consensus option be adopted where applicable while the Direct option be adopted where consensus fail.
