Alex Iwobi, WIlliam Troost-Ekong and Ola Aina are to miss the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed.
The football house disclosed Monday night that the Gunners star, Iwobi, Udinese new signing and Chelsea loanee will not be available for the must-win encounter due to injury.
Unai Emery informs why injury had shut out Iwobi in the Arsenal squad that played in a 3-2 win over Cardiff City due to illness on Sunday while Italian-based duo, Troost-Ekong andTorino’s Ola Aina, picking up injuries in the Serie A against Fiorentina and SPAL last weekend.
The Super Eagles camp now has Henry Onyekuru, Kenneth Omeruo, Francis Uzoho, Semi Ajayi, Samuel Kalu, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Awaziem, Nwakali, Bryan Idowu, Simeon Nwankwo, Joel Obi.
Team Captain Mikel Obi would also miss the encounter after taking permission to be off duty while returning from injury.
Chelsea star Victor Moses would also be missed after his recent retirement from international football.
