Highlife musician, Bright Chimezie, has been mesmerizing his fans in Lagos State with songs from his newly released album.
Bright flew in from his base in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, for the promotional tour of the album in Lagos State that is considered as the entertainment nerve centre of Nigeria.
And in the last two days, he has thrilled his fans who are mostly in their 50s and late 40s and who are domiciled in Cement and Surulere areas of Lagos with the songs from the latest album. He mesmerized his fans from his rich repertoire that included songs like “that African man is committing suicide” that gave him the sobriquet, Okoro Jr.
From Cement, he took his show to Old School, right inside the National Stadium Surelere for what looks like an encore and brought the good old days nostalgic feelings.
Bright who is fondly referred to as Okoro JNR by his fans, left Lagos for Umuahia, his country home, some years ago and has gradually integrated himself into the entertainment culture of the people of South East zone and the neigbouring regions.
