2027:Adebutu, Pantami names missing from INEC’s final list of governorship candidates
Adebutus ommission comes amid questions over his names absence from the PDP membership register submitted to INEC.
It will be recalled that the ruling All Peoples Congress,APC had on Thursday called on INEC to enforce the Supreme Court ruling which reinforce earlier decision of the court of Appeal on the issue.
As things stand today,Adebutu remains the only visible challenge to the ruling APC which has being in power in the state since 2014.
Inability to resolve the issue may make the APC candidate,Senator Solomon Adeola, the only candidate to beat in the state during next year’s election.
Adebutu it will be recalled came second during the 2023 governorship election in ogun state coming closely to incumbent, Prince Dapo Abiodun, who has also secured the parties ticket to contest for the Ogun East senatorial election.
