The 2nd semifinal encounter between defending champions and three times world champions, North Korea and Columbia at the Stadion LKZ in Lodz Poland on Wednesday ended an encore of the score board at their group E meeting in this tournament as North Korea whipped Columbia 3-0 in a one sided match.

North Korea is one of the highest scoring teams with 13 Goals like Nigeria bit Columbia got a distant 5 goals. Like they say on street football in Nigeria, “Pressure ti wa (there is pressure)”. Columbia couldn’t cope with the goal scoring machines from North Korea that are computer padded with Japanese and Chinese touches to bring back the trophy to Asia for the 4th time.
We need to inform you that North Korea have the record of being the only nation that has lifted the trophy thrice in 8 appearances done in 2006, 2016 and at the last edition in 2024. They were runners up in 2008; placed 4th in 2014 and were stopped at the quarterfinal stages thrice in 2010, 2012 and 2018. What an impeccable record!
