Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation,Babachir Lawal has defected to the Seriake Dickson led NDC.
The move it was gathered was made today,September 22 after holding a meeting today with NDC National Leader Senator Seriake Dickson at the senator’s Abuja residence.

Lawal, who resigned from the ADC on June 1 over the emergence of Atiku as the party’s presidential candidate, had previously said he would support the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket if he comes back from his sabbatical.
The former SGF also supported Peter Obi when he ran under the LP in the 2023 presidential election.
