Ogun: Man, woman, son found dead at home

Residents of Egbe Subair area close to the house of the late Buruji Kashamu in Ijebu Igbo, have been left in shock after three lifeless bodies were discovered inside a residence.

 

 

 

The deceased have been identified as a woman, her son, and a man popularly known as Ope, also called “Shanko.”

 

According to information gathered from the scene, the woman and her boyfriend were reportedly found dead inside the toilet, while her son was discovered lifeless in a room within the house.

 

Observations from the room suggest that there may have been a struggle before their deaths, as parts and other items in the toilet appeared damaged.

Unconfirmed reports circulating within the community suggest that the family may have been poisoned, although authorities have not officially established the cause of death.

 

 

Police officers and other security personnel were seen at the scene this morning on Wednesday, carrying out investigations and gathering evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

 

The incident has drawn crowds of residents, many in disbelief, as the community calls for a thorough probe into the tragedy.

As of the time of filing this report, officials have yet to release a formal statement regarding the cause of the incident or the identities of the deceased.

 

The bodies have since been evacuated and deposited at a morgue.
