Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile Ife have taken to the street to protest over what they described as unfavorable new transport system and eviction from Awolowo Hall of residence.
Most of the students lived outside the school campus due to acute shortage of accommodation thereby putting pressure on the inadequate transport system.

The students prevented vehicular movement in and out of the campus disrupting daily academic and administrative activities.
