Eight House of Reps Members from Kano State have officially announced their defection from the NNPP to the APC today at the Green Chamber.
The eight rep members are:
1. Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe (Dawakin Tofa/Rimin Gado/Tofa Federal Constituency)
2. Hon Garba Ibrahim Diso (Gwale Federal Constituency)
3. Hon. Hassan Shehu Hussain (Nassarawa Federal Constituency)
4. Hon. Idris Dankawu (Kumbotso Federal Constituency)
5. Hon. Muhamamad Chiroma Nalaraba (Gezawa/Gabasawa Federal Constituency)
6. Hon. Barr. Rabiu Yusuf (Takai/Sumaila Federal Constituency)
7. Hon. Dr Ghali Mustapha Tijjani (Albasu/Gaya/Ajingi Federal Constituency)

Their defection was witnessed by Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State and former Kano Governor Umar Ganduje, along with other dignitaries and party leaders.
