The National Grid has again collapsed for the second time in barely a week.
This occurred in the early hours of Tuesday with data showing zero megawatts of power supply to the 11 electricity distribution companies across the country.

Electricity generation reportedly dropped sharply from over 4,500 megawatts to as low as 0 megawatts as of 11: 00 AM.
The development had again left many Nigerians in blackout as also recorded last week Friday when the grid suffered its first collapse in 2026.
