Nigerian Boxing Coaches Get Alert for Development.
The Nigerian Boxing Federation (NBF) has issued alerts to all boxing coaches in all the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to as a matter of dispatch register with the body to configure and modulate all Coaches within a new development plan.

Secretary General to the NBF, Mrs. Vivian Azimene made this known in a statement made available to Patmos Media Line wherein she stated that the exercise “is aimed at development, proper upgrading, and standardization of coaching practice” in the country.
According to Mrs. Azimene, it is also to ensure a fair appropriation of benefits to the coaches across all boards and zones warning that the registration is mandatory.
The Secretary General emphasized that “compliance with this directive is compulsory as only registered and graded coaches will be considered for future programs, certifications and opportunities”.
Mrs. Azimene explained that the registration exercise wi;; enable the Nigerian Boxing Federation to:
1. Properly grade and classify coaches.
2. Maintain an updated national database of Coaches.
3. Appropriately allocate grading, benefits and opportunities available to Coaches.
