Remains of Anthony Joshua’s allies flown home
The remains of the allies of Nigeria’s heavyweight boxer, Anthony Joshua, have returned home for burial.
It will be recalled that Anthony Joshua and his allies were involved in a ghastly accident on December 29, 2025.
The accident occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when the driver of the SUV in which they were travelling ran into a stationary vehicle.
The late allies of Joshua have since been identified as Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele.
They were both 36 years old.
While Ghami has been Joshua’s full-time sports and exercise rehabilitation coach for over a decade, Ayodele served as his personal trainer and fitness coach.
According to information available to The Eagle Online, the remains of Ghami and Ayodele left Nigeria on Wednesday night.

The Eagle Online was equally told that TOS Funerals handled the preparation of the bodies of Ghami and Ayodele for the trip back home.
The funeral home also provided the casket for the bodies and took the remains to the airport.
Joshua visited the funeral home to pay his last respect to Ghami and Ayodele.
This was after he was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday and declared fit to recuperate from home.
