President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday, December 28, departed Lagos for Europe as part of his end-of-year break, ahead of an official visit to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
President Tinubu is scheduled to attend the 2026 edition of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026) Summit at the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The summit will hold in early January in Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is a weeklong annual global forum that convenes leaders from government, business and civil society to shape the future of sustainable development worldwide.

President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after the conclusion of the summit.
