The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has said his country will intensify its counter-terror assistance to Nigeria.
Macron revealed this in a tweet on Sunday after he had a discussion with President Bola Tinubu on the security issue in Nigeria.
He said he conveyed France’s solidarity with Nigeria to Tinubu in the face of “various security challenges, particularly the terrorist threat in the north”.
