Minister of State for Defence, Matawalle
The Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, has announced that security agencies are making significant progress in locating the kidnapped Kebbi schoolgirls.
Recall that 25 female students were abducted from the Government Girls’ Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga on Monday, November 17, during an attack by bandits.

In response to this disturbing incident, President Bola Tinubu has directed Matawalle to travel to Kebbi State to oversee the rescue operations.
While speaking with reporters in Birnin Kebbi, the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, stated that “The intelligence we have shows that we are almost close to those children.”
He also assured the Kebbi State Governor that the Federal Government is fully ready to work with the state to rescue and bring the girls back home safely and reunite them with their families soon. (Saturday Tribune)
