The meeting between organised Labour and the State Government over the ongoing strike action called by the Nigeria Labour Congress,NLC and organised Labour ended in a deadlock today.
Newdawnngr.com gathered that the meeting could not reach any consensus after several hours of deliberation.

Talks are expected to continue tomorrow morning as efforts persist toward resolving the impasse and addressing the demands of the workers.
It will be recalled that the state congress led by NLC and Trade Union Congress in conjuction with organised labour commence a strike action today to effect a notice earlier given the state government.
The workers according to their claims are being owed 34 months of unremitting deductions fund the Contributory Pension Scheme initiated by the government of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The workers have vowed to continue the strike until their demands are met by the state government.
