The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all chairmanship and all but one councillorship positions in the just concluded Lagos State local government elections.
According to the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), the APC clinched victory in all 57 local government and local council development area chairmanship seats across the state.
Out of 376 available councillorship positions, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured just one seat, with the remaining 375 going to APC candidates.

The announcement was made on Sunday, a day after the election was held across the state.
LASIEC commended voters for their participation and peaceful conduct during the polls.
The results confirm APC’s continued dominance in Lagos State’s grassroots political landscape.
